GOAT MILK

GOAT MILK

Description

Goat milk is one of the ingredients confirmed for its properties in both the oldest and the recent times. Most of the SPA centers in Europe and America have introduced goat milk into the list of ingredients used in treatments, and we have also chosen it for our natural soaps, backed by its many properties as a natural medicine.

History

The archaeological evidence nominates the goat as the first ruminant hunted by man. The vestiges found on the territory of the current Iran show that this animal was raised for milk at least 10,000 years ago. At about that time, people had the revelation of their medicinal properties, intensely exploited in Egypt and ancient Greece. The Egyptians regarded the sacred goat’s milk as a gift to the gods and the Egyptian aristocrats used it internally and externally as an elixir of youth and beauty. Cleopatra, always aware of what was happening in the field, used goat’s milk to maintain the suppleness and smoothness of her skin so she can look good in engravings. And Hippocrates, the famous ancient physician of Antiquity, called in his works the goat milk a “miraculous liquid” and a “healing essence”, recommending it as a medicine for serious lung diseases as well as degenerative ones.
